Biography;

Born 1974 in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Lives and works in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Department of Comparative Culture, Faculty of Literature, the University of Kitakyushu , Japan. After working for an aviation-related company, studied photography at Kyoto University of the Arts (formerly Kyoto University of Art and Design), Correspondence Course, Department of Fine Arts, Photography Course. She produces works mainly in the field of photography. Being a third generation A-bomb survivor, she began to think about the separation of life and death. She has developed her work on the theme of the correlation between living and being alive.
